My items arrived damaged.

My order came and the items are damaged what do I do?

Sorry to hear that, but if it wasn't a custom item we can fix it. The good thing is the item is covered under select shipping carriers, for the exception of USPS. Within the coming weeks USPS will require that you select to have insurance or not. Shold you not select insurance we will be unable to assist you with replacement should the item arrive damaged or not at all.

Ok, next step, you should do:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt of the item by emailing us at return@doghousegaragestore.com
  2. In your email: Include your sales order number.
  3. Describe the damage.
  4. DHG will request one of two things before fulfilling your claim:
    1. Ask for an image (depending on the merchandise) of the damaged merchandise or we will send you a pre-paid return label. Once the item(s) are received or image verified your item(s) will be replaced. 
      1. Note: This offer is void on "As Is" items, Clearance or Discontinued items.
  5. Should the item(s) be no longer available your payment method will be refunded.
  6. If you received the item as a gift you will receive a replacement or DHG eBucks for use on another item.

You can contact the store, but depending on your item, you will still be required to either send an image or recieve the pre-paid return label. An email ticket about the issue will still be sent to your attention so the resolution can be tracked.
